Account Manager – East Coast (Wines & Spirits)

About the role

The Account Manager – East Coast (Wines & Spirits) will be responsible for growing and retaining a portfolio of wine and spirits customers across the United States East Coast and Canada. Reporting to the Line Manager – Account Manager, you will drive revenue, profitability and strategic partnership for Amcor’s closure solutions, including screw caps and capsules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts to maximise revenue and profitability, monitoring critical KPIs and budget responsibility of $5‑20 million USD.
• Develop deep understanding of both short‑term and long‑term customer needs and position Amcor’s product portfolio accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers throughout the enterprise.
• Keep business plans and customer strategies up‑to‑date using Amcor’s internal tools.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with customers to define sustainability and innovation road‑maps.
• Lead and negotiate major business deals, influencing decisions to protect Amcor’s interests.
• Coordinate local sales resources to execute the account strategy and deliver results.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or account management within the wine and spirits sector.
• Track record of managing multi‑million‑dollar accounts and delivering growth.
• Ability to develop and execute long‑term account strategies.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Comfort operating across the East Coast of the United States and Canada.
