Academic Tutor – Kitchener & Waterloo

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking enthusiastic Academic Tutors to provide one‑on‑one in‑home support for students in the Kitchener‑Waterloo area. You will work directly with learners aged 4‑20, delivering instruction aligned with the Ontario curriculum and helping them achieve academic success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized tutoring sessions based on the Ontario curriculum.
• Create and assign supplemental materials to reinforce understanding.
• Provide remedial assistance as well as enrichment challenges for advanced learners.
• Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress.

Required profile

• Energetic, enthusiastic educators with classroom or tutoring experience.
• Strong commitment to excellent customer service and student outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Either a registered teacher (Ontario College of Teachers or other Canadian province/US), a teacher‑candidate pursuing a B.Ed., or a qualified lecturer at a Canadian post‑secondary institution.
