YouTube Content Strategist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced YouTube Content Strategist to lead the creative direction of a high‑impact YouTube channel for the Martell Group. This senior role goes beyond production; you will shape the overall strategy, drive audience growth, and align video content with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term YouTube content roadmap that targets audience expansion and revenue goals.
• Identify high‑potential video concepts, research trends, competitors and audience interests to generate viral and evergreen content.
• Write compelling scripts and storyboards that maximise click‑through rates, watch time and viewer retention.
• Analyse channel performance metrics, produce regular reports and recommend optimisation tactics.
• Lead brainstorming sessions, test new formats and collaborate closely with the CEO and production teams.

Required profile

• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels with millions of views.
• Deep understanding of YouTube storytelling, audience psychology and content analytics.
• Experience in film production, directing, documentary filmmaking or scriptwriting is strongly preferred.
• Ability to translate data insights into creative strategy and actionable recommendations.
