Welder – Full-time Permanent

About the role

Old Time Iron inc is seeking a skilled welder to join their Calgary team on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role involves operating a range of welding and metal‑shaping equipment in a dusty, noisy, and dirty work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
• Operate manual, semi‑automatic, and fully automated welding equipment.
• Perform flame‑cutting, oxygen‑arc cutting, brazing, and torch‑straightening of metal components.
• Use CAD software and operate brakes, shears, and other metal‑shaping machines.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment and monitor robotic welding production lines.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of welding experience.
• Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and dirty environment.
