Warehouse Project Management Office Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse Project Management Office (PMO) Assistant will support the PMO in driving and delivering high‑priority projects for Nippon Express' Warehousing and Distribution organization. This national role ensures projects move from ideation through design, business case development, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Apply NECA business, project and change‑management methodologies consistently across all warehousing and distribution projects.
• Monitor project progress against objectives and deliverables, flagging issues and coordinating remedial actions.
• Validate project business cases, assess ROI and alignment with strategic goals.
• Assist in setting up project objectives, structures and serve as the primary contact for each project.
• Facilitate communication, schedule milestone meetings with stakeholders and pressure‑test project rationale.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to optimise stakeholders' time, highlight key progress and successes, and report results.
• Perform other duties as required to support project delivery.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in strategy or management consulting, project management, supply chain, sales or related fields.
• Strong data‑analysis capabilities with experience handling operational and financial data.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills, able to simplify complex information for senior leadership.
• Team‑player who can build consensus, multitask, prioritize and execute swiftly.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑starter with a data‑driven mindset.
