Warehouse Operator – Dockyard & Customer Interface

About the role

The Warehouse Operator supports ship‑maintenance activities by ensuring the smooth flow of materials through the warehouse and dockyard. This hybrid position combines on‑site warehouse work with occasional remote tasks, operating within core business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and inspect incoming material and documentation; process receipts and track shipments.
• Prepare domestic, US and international outbound freight, complying with packaging, customs and export requirements.
• Process requisitions, pick, package, and move material; distribute parts for customer delivery.
• Store inventory in approved areas, manage hazardous‑goods regulations, and conduct cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Enter data accurately into the Inventory Management System and generate warehouse reports.
• Operate delivery vehicles, forklifts and other material‑handling equipment; load/unload transport vehicles and containers.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs in coordination with the Warehouse Manager.

Required profile

• Availability to work core business hours Monday‑Friday, 07:30‑16:00.
• Physical ability to work in a warehouse environment.
• Eligibility for Controlled Goods Program clearance and ability to obtain NATO Secret security clearance.
• Compliance with Canadian Controlled Goods Registration Program requirements.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Material handling equipment (MHE) operation.
• Proficiency with an Inventory Management System.
