VP, Product Operations

About the role

The Vice President of Product Operations will lead the Product Operations function, establishing and scaling processes, governance frameworks, and planning practices that enable effective execution across PointClickCare’s product and engineering organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual, quarterly, and ongoing product portfolio planning processes across product and engineering teams.
• Facilitate cross‑functional planning discussions, portfolio reviews and prioritization activities that balance strategic objectives, capacity, dependencies and resource trade‑offs.
• Establish and evolve governance frameworks that promote transparency, accountability and effective decision‑making.
• Monitor portfolio performance and execution health, identifying opportunities to improve planning predictability and delivery outcomes.
• Develop and maintain portfolio performance reporting, operational metrics, dashboards and executive‑level insights.
• Partner with product, engineering, UX/UI and business stakeholders to improve coordination and operational effectiveness.
• Lead, coach and develop product operations leaders and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in product operations, portfolio management, PMO or related business‑operations function within a complex technology organization.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across product, engineering, finance and strategy functions.
• Strong analytical and strategic leadership skills with experience leveraging metrics and reporting to support planning and executive decision‑making.
• Experience leading and developing managers and professional teams, including talent development and performance management.
