Truck Driver – Flatbed & Articulated

About the role

ABI Mouldings Ltd. is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to transport goods across local and provincial routes from our Calgary hub. You will operate straight and articulated flatbed trucks, ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials.

Key responsibilities

• Load, secure, and unload cargo, including tarping flatbed loads.
• Drive straight‑or‑articulated trucks to transport goods.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections of tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage equipment, and overall vehicle condition.
• Complete preventive maintenance and report any issues.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate with central dispatch via GPS and other navigation tools.
• Prepare and manage documentation such as bill of lading, incident reports, and trip logs.

Required profile

• College‑level certificate or equivalent experience (1‑2 years in trucking).
• Class 3/3F/DF licence with Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
• Valid driver’s licence, passport, and clean criminal/driving record.
• Willingness to travel overnight and for extended periods.
• Ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lb) loads and sit for long periods.
