Travel Consultant – Retail Sales (Toronto)

About the role

As a Travel Consultant at Flight Centre, you will engage customers in a dynamic retail environment, turning enquiries into memorable travel experiences. You will work full‑time on site, balancing sales targets with high‑quality service to help clients plan everything from simple domestic trips to complex international holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings through consultative sales conversations.
• Achieve individual KPIs and sales targets, earning commission on each sale.
• Sell end‑to‑end travel solutions, including flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, car hire, transfers, and travel insurance.
• Build a loyal customer base of new and repeat clients.
• Manage multiple communication channels (in‑store, phone, email) in a fast‑paced setting.
• Use booking systems and supplier tools to quote, upsell, book, and follow up accurately.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in travel sales or a similar customer‑facing, target‑driven role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and upselling products.
• Strong communication skills and confidence selling in person and over the phone.
• High attention to detail, organized, resilient, and positive under pressure.
• International travel experience and a high school diploma or higher.

Required skills

• Experience with Sabre GDS (preferred).
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems and booking tools.
