Tier 2+ IT Technician – MSP, Microsoft 365 & Cybersecurity

About the role

Evolution IT is seeking a Tier 2+ IT Technician to join its fast‑growing managed services team in Calgary. You will provide hands‑on support across diverse client environments, working with Windows, macOS, cloud services and cybersecurity tools. The role blends office‑based work with occasional on‑site visits to ensure client systems run smoothly and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2+ support for desktops, servers, networks and cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot Windows and Mac PCs, Windows Server, printers and network devices.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Support backup, business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.
• Configure firewalls, VPNs and endpoint security tools.
• Maintain clear, up‑to‑date documentation of incidents and solutions.
• Visit client sites as needed while primarily working from the office.

Required profile

• 5+ years of IT support experience in an MSP environment.
• Minimum 2 years in a Tier 2+ support role.
• Strong work ethic, self‑motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for occasional travel.
