Technical Recruiter

About the role

Canals is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join its small, high‑performing talent team. In this generalist position you will partner with hiring managers across engineering, product, design, operations, customer success and go‑to‑market functions to attract and hire top talent that fuels the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate top‑of‑funnel candidates through outbound sourcing, referrals, networking, events and inbound pipelines.
• Conduct first‑round recruiter screens that assess technical fit while promoting the Canals brand.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, provide market insights and calibrate talent expectations.
• Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through offer, ensuring clear communication and timely feedback.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools and outreach strategies.
• Build expertise across a wide range of functions and quickly adapt to new hiring challenges.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
• Strong judgment, curiosity and the ability to learn new domains quickly.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to think critically and act autonomously rather than follow a rigid script.
