Technical Field Intern

About the role

Syngenta Canada, a leader in agricultural innovation, is looking for a Technical Field Intern through its Emerging Talent Program. The intern helps support the commercial evaluation of crop protection technologies and digital ag tools, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to day-to-day business operations. The internship runs either May 2027 to August 2027 or May 2027 to December 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the research authorization and validation trial program for the local geography.
• Collect and share data and key learnings with stakeholders.
• Support the development of technical product content and take part in information management.
• Work with the local sales team and selected growers to run projects according to protocol and meet regulatory and stewardship requirements.
• Help incorporate digital technologies into data capture and compile and summarize project data with digital data service providers.
• Assist with field site tours as required.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a degree or diploma from an accredited university or college.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment.
• Valid driver's licence.
