About the role
The Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at McGill University seeks a Teaching Assistant for the Clinical Mentorship course (PHAR 524) during the Winter 2027 term. The role involves supporting the course coordinator and assisting students throughout the 35‑hour term. The position is paid at $38.46 per hour, runs from January 5 to April 30, 2027, and reflects McGill’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Key responsibilities
- Attend scheduled classes and student presentations as requested by the coordinators.
- Provide individualized assistance to students who encounter difficulties with course material, including leading small‑group tutorial sessions.
- Assist the course coordinator with organizing student presentations, distributing relevant information and course materials, and collecting essays in a timely manner.
Required profile
- Strong command of English to effectively support international students.
- Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
