About the role

The Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at McGill University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the course Advances in Industrial Biotechnology (PHAR 540) for the Winter 2027 term. The appointment runs from January 5 to April 30, 2027 and involves approximately 45 hours of work over the term, compensated at an hourly rate of $38.46.

Key responsibilities

Attend classes and assess student participation.
Set up and invigilate the final exam.
Mark draft and final proposal exams.
Review exam results with students.
Post course materials to the myCourses website.

Required profile

Graduate student who has successfully completed PHAR 301 and PHAR 300 (or equivalent).
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
