About the role
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant for the course “Advanced Qualitative Research: Philosophical and Theoretical Foundations” (HSED 704) for the Winter 2026 term at McGill University. The role supports the professor and students through classroom preparation, technology setup, and student interaction.
Key responsibilities
- Locate and set up course materials on the My Courses platform.
- Attend and assist during class lectures held on Wednesdays.
- Monitor online postings and chats, responding to student questions.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and technology.
- Provide email and office‑hour consultation to students.
- Screen and review course‑related materials as requested by the professor.
- Submit grades on My Courses.
Required profile
- Current doctoral student at McGill University.
- Advanced graduate study in qualitative research.
- Strong overall academic performance.
- Registered in a graduate program at McGill.
- Interest in health professions education or related health and social science fields.
