About the role

The Tax Recovery Officer supports the Canada Revenue Agency in collecting outstanding taxes and ensuring compliance with tax legislation. This entry‑level position offers full training and a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

Identify and review unpaid tax accounts using internal systems.
Contact taxpayers to explain obligations and arrange payment plans.
Maintain accurate records of communications and payments.
Assist senior officers with audits and compliance investigations.
Prepare reports on recovery activities and outcomes.

Required profile

Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) required.
No prior experience needed; willingness to learn and be trained.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (French optional).
