Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its team in the London, Ontario area. This senior‑level position combines deep technical tax expertise with strategic advisory responsibilities, supporting business objectives while ensuring compliance with evolving tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee tax compliance, reporting, and filing across multiple tax jurisdictions.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies aligned with business goals.
• Research, analyse, and advise on complex tax matters, transactions and emerging issues.
• Monitor legislative changes and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex tax concepts into practical business guidance.
• Support tax audits, government reviews and regulatory inquiries while managing risk.
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Mentor and coach junior team members and finance professionals.

Required profile

• Technically strong tax professional with a passion for solving complex tax challenges.
• Comfortable diving into detailed tax matters and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communicator able to convey complex concepts to non‑tax audiences.
