Donor Services Associate

About the role

Trans World Radio Canada is seeking an energetic Donor Services Associate to be the first point of contact for donors, guests, and volunteers. The role blends donor relationship management with technical oversight of the organization’s donor database and financial reporting systems.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, donors, and volunteers with professionalism and warmth.
• Handle inbound calls and emails, providing accurate information about TWR Canada’s mission.
• Process donations received via mail, online, phone, or events using the fundraising platform and CRM system.
• Maintain and update donor profiles in DonorPerfect, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Run quality‑control reports, identify database issues, and coordinate enhancements with digital support.
• Prepare and send timely gift acknowledgments and receipts in compliance with CRA standards.
• Reconcile donations with banking data and align records between DonorPerfect and QuickBooks.
• Generate user‑friendly reports and manage donor segmentation for campaigns and events.
