About the role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join our team, focusing on public accounting, year‑end financial statements, and tax preparation for corporate and personal clients. The role involves both independent work and mentorship of junior staff, ensuring high‑quality deliverables for a variety of tax filings.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review year‑end financial statements.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns.
- Work on personal, trust, and partnership tax returns.
- Support file review and organization.
- Mentor junior staff as needed.
- Utilize CaseWare and TaxPrep software for efficient processing.
Required profile
- CPA designation preferred.
- Strong Canadian public accounting experience.
- Experience with T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T5013, and partnership returns.
- Proficiency with CaseWare and TaxPrep.
- Availability for contract work.
