About the role
UMC Financial Management Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its investment team in Edmonton. The role involves gathering and analysing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and cash‑flow planning.
Key responsibilities
- Collect financial and investment information on companies, stocks, bonds and other assets.
- Examine and analyse financial profiles, price trends, yields and future outlooks.
- Prepare company, industry and economic outlooks, analytical reports and briefing notes.
- Advise on the financial aspects of contracts and tenders.
- Analyse investment projects and assist in preparing operating and investment budgets.
- Plan short‑ and long‑term cash flows, assess financial performance and maintain risk profiles for debt portfolios.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Relevant experience is an asset.
- Must be bondable and pass criminal and credit checks.
