Manager, Credit & Collections

About the role

The Manager, Credit & Collections leads KONE Canada's credit and collections function, protecting cash flow, reducing overdue balances and improving payment performance for the Canadian market. Based in Mississauga, the role partners with sales, operations, finance and customers to resolve payment issues and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Canadian Credit & Collections team, ensuring governance, process standardization, controls and capability development.
• Establish collection priorities, monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve AR performance and cash collections.
• Coach and develop team members through performance management, training and succession planning.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Billing, Customer Service, Legal and Finance to resolve disputes and remove collection barriers.
• Deliver accurate reporting, cash forecasts, risk assessments and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Utilize SAP ERP, HighRadius and related systems to monitor collection performance and support order‑to‑cash processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable or finance operations.
• At least 3 years of experience leading teams, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
• Demonstrated success improving collection performance, reducing overdue balances and leading process standardization across multi‑site environments.
