Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Tech & GTM)

About the role

Suger is looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition Recruiter to help build high‑performing teams across GTM, Engineering, Product and Operations. You will work directly with founders and hiring managers in a fast‑growing startup environment, focusing on both active and passive talent.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring strategies, talent profiles and priorities.
• Own the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, debrief facilitation, offer management and candidate closing.
• Build and nurture talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, Gem, Juicebox and referrals.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience while maintaining a structured, efficient hiring process.
• Maintain accurate data in Lever ATS, track pipeline health and provide regular hiring insights.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, sourcing strategies and employer branding.
• Support HR administration for Canadian employees as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience in a startup or high‑growth environment.
• Proven success sourcing and hiring for GTM, Engineering, Product or Business Operations roles.
• Strong proactive sourcing skills and ability to engage passive candidates.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, preferably Lever.
• Willingness to work hybrid, with four days per week onsite in Downtown Vancouver.
