Talent Acquisition Lead

About the role

Paramount Commerce, a fast‑growing fintech focused on simplifying payments in Canada, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to own the end‑to‑end recruitment process. You will work directly with the VP of People & Culture and hiring managers to build a world‑class hiring engine that supports both technical and non‑technical hiring across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to define and refine hiring strategy for engineering, product, and other functions.
• Manage the full‑cycle recruiting process, from sourcing to offer negotiation, for all role types.
• Optimize the Workable ATS, create interview guides, and train hiring managers on best practices.
• Proactively source and engage high‑impact candidates, ensuring a strong pipeline.
• Design and maintain a delightful, transparent candidate experience.
• Experiment with AI‑driven recruiting tools to automate repetitive tasks while preserving a human touch.
• Own recruiting metrics and dashboards, turning data into actionable insights about pipeline health.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated success hiring for technical roles, especially engineering and product.
• Experience leading an in‑house talent acquisition function is a plus.
• Strong understanding of technical job requirements and ability to speak the language of engineers.
