Surveillance Security Guard

About the role

Join GardaWorld as a Surveillance Security Guard and use your keen eye to monitor multiple screens, detect threats, and keep various sites safe. You will work in environments such as security operation centres, construction sites, parking lots, and gatehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to identify suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior foot patrols.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations.

Required profile

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• First Aid Level C certification.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• At least 1 year of security guard experience.
• Strong report‑writing abilities.
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
