SSAT Middle Level Tutor (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking experienced SSAT Middle Level tutors to join our online learning platform. You will work remotely, providing personalized instruction to students in grades 5‑7 who are preparing for the SSAT Middle Level exam.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one online tutoring sessions and on‑demand instant tutoring.
• Explain SSAT sections (Quantitative, Verbal, Reading Comprehension, Writing Sample) and scoring mechanics.
• Teach strategic test‑taking techniques, including quarter‑point penalty strategies and vocabulary building.
• Use official SSAT practice tests and timed drills to improve student performance.
• Adapt instruction to each student’s learning style and pace.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of SSAT Middle Level content and common challenges.
• Ability to explain scaled scores, percentile rankings, and admissions relevance.
• Strong communication skills and an engaging, friendly teaching style.
• Experience identifying and addressing concepts students struggle with.
