Software Developer/Engineer - Digital Services

About the role

Software developers at NOV create innovative digital solutions that transform the oil services industry. In this role you will design, develop, and maintain software that delivers real‑time information to support critical decisions, automation and cost reduction. You will work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment with access to the latest technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, modular, and reliable code following best practices.
• Research and stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.
• Debug and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with product managers to define requirements.
• Document designs, implementations and test procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to interpret business and technical specifications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work with limited direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in an object‑oriented language such as C#, C++ or Java.
• Experience with .NET development.
• Knowledge of multi‑threaded programming and thread synchronization.
• Understanding of memory management and algorithm performance.
• Full‑stack development experience, including SPA frameworks, Angular and TypeScript.
