IT Administrator – Project Support Services

About the role

SWAT Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to manage, support, and evolve its technology environment. Reporting to the Manager of Project Support Services, you will work closely with operations leadership to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT services for a growing environmental consulting firm.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud‑based systems.
• Manage corporate file structures, permissions, backups, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and infrastructure risks.
• Conduct IT needs assessments and develop future‑state plans aligned with company growth.
• Support relational database systems and, when applicable, EarthSoft EQuIS or ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Develop automation scripts and coordinate advanced troubleshooting with vendors.
• Provide training, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to quality‑control standards.
• Assist internal projects while respecting scope, budget, and schedule.

Required profile

• Degree or technical diploma in an IT discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT administration.
• Availability for after‑hours or weekend support as needed.
