Social Media Manager – Part‑time (Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time freelance Social Media Manager to lead the Instagram presence of a premium stationery brand and support Pinterest. You will create, film and edit engaging Reels, schedule and publish content, repurpose user‑generated material and report on performance metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a content calendar for Instagram and Pinterest.
• Create, film and edit short‑form video Reels and other visual assets.
• Adapt user‑generated content to match brand guidelines.
• Write on‑brand copy for posts and captions.
• Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools.
• Monitor, analyse and report key social media metrics.
• Collaborate with the founder to ensure content aligns with brand strategy.
• Maintain a consistent, calm and aesthetic visual identity across channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media for premium or lifestyle brands.
• Strong content‑creation ability, especially filming and editing short‑form video.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to work independently.
• Based in Melbourne preferred; remote candidates considered.
• Availability of approximately 10‑15 hours per month on an ongoing basis.
