Social Media Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our brand’s social channels across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and emerging platforms. Based in Canada, you will blend storytelling with performance marketing to build a culturally relevant presence that drives engagement, trust and customer acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end social media strategy and content calendar aligned with product launches, campaigns and cultural moments.
• Create, publish and optimise short‑form video, static posts and reactive content that resonate with target audiences.
• Manage community interactions, including comments and direct messages, to strengthen brand loyalty.
• Identify trends, memes and cultural moments and translate them into timely content.
• Collaborate with Growth, Brand, Creative and PR teams on paid amplification, creator whitelisting and influencer partnerships.
• Analyse performance metrics and provide insights to continuously improve reach, engagement and conversion.
• Support cross‑channel needs for email, SMS and landing page content when required.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience managing social media for a consumer‑facing brand.
• Proven track record of creating content that drives audience growth and measurable business impact.
• Deep understanding of social trends, internet culture and platform best practices.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to iterate quickly based on performance insights.
• Excellent communication, writing and brand‑voice adaptation skills.
• Highly organised with strong project‑management abilities in fast‑paced environments.
