About the role
We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our construction team in Calgary. The role involves reading plans, preparing layouts, and building structural components on various sites.
Key responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of carpentry experience.
- Physically demanding work: bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads.
- Client‑focused team player.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
