Site Superintendent

About the role

Wildstone Construction is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead the execution of projects across remote locations in western and northern Canada. Reporting to the General Superintendent, you will coordinate trades, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate trades, materials, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule.
• Conduct daily site walks, inspect progress, and address quality or safety issues.
• Maintain site documentation, inspection records, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead daily briefings with the team and trade partners to align on goals.
• Review schedules, close out daily tasks, and ensure all safety concerns are resolved.
• Manage testing and inspection requirements with consultants and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Journeyperson certificate or equivalent industry‑related experience/education.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with project managers, consultants, owners, and trade partners.
• Willingness to travel throughout BC, Yukon, and occasionally the Northwest Territories.
• Ability to work 21‑day rotations with 10‑hour shifts in remote crew houses.
