Site Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site Site Superintendent to lead construction activities in Toronto. The role is responsible for keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and maintaining VOK’s high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day site operations and coordinate subcontractors across multiple trades
• Manage site schedules and drive milestones to completion
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain full compliance with construction codes and regulations
• Inspect ongoing work and hold all trades to VOK’s quality standard
• Resolve site challenges quickly and decisively
• Partner with project managers on progress reporting and proactive problem‑solving
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and consultants on site

Required profile

• Proven experience in a site leadership role within construction (QSR or commercial fit‑out an asset)
• Strong command of construction supervision, subcontractor coordination, and schedule management
• Working knowledge of safety protocols, quality control, and code compliance
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Sharp organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication and leadership – you bring teams together and keep them moving
• Familiarity with construction technology and scheduling software is an asset
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites
