About the role
Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a qualified plumber to maintain and install plumbing systems across its facilities. The role supports domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing needs within the hospital environment.
Key responsibilities
- Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems in patient care and support areas.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout and pipe sizing.
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of relevant plumbing experience.
- Valid Plumber Trade Certification and a trade certificate or diploma in plumbing technology.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Pipe pressure testing and sizing.
