Siding Installer

About the role

Proshield Building Solutions Inc. is seeking a motivated Siding Installer to join their construction team in Edmonton. You will work on exterior prefabricated products, ensuring installations meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair and service exterior prefabricated products.
• Determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure and mark guidelines for installations.
• Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies.
• Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
• Utilize hand and power tools.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in siding installation.
• Physically demanding work with ability to handle heavy loads.
• Dependable, flexible and efficient interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Measuring, marking and layout determination.
• Using hand and power tools for exterior prefabricated products.
• Erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework and other platforms.
