SEO & SEM Specialist (Hybrid – Guelph)

About the role

Wurth Canada is seeking an SEO & SEM Specialist to lead search optimization initiatives for its B2B eCommerce platform. This hybrid position combines on‑site work in Guelph with remote flexibility, offering the chance to influence product discoverability and brand visibility across emerging AI‑driven search experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute SEO and on‑site search strategies to improve organic visibility, rankings, and customer experience.
• Optimize product pages, category structures, metadata, search rules, and filtering using keyword research and SEO best practices.
• Develop and implement tactics to enhance brand discoverability on AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.
• Manage digital merchandising across category pages, search results, landing pages, and product recommendation zones to boost cross‑sell, upsell, and promotional performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Germany Search Competency Centre to align on global best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving SEO/SEM initiatives in a B2B environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into actionable improvements.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting and collaborating across international teams.
