Senior Technical Recruiter

About the role

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join its talent acquisition team. You will act as a professional networker and relationship builder, connecting top IT talent with exciting project and direct‑hire opportunities across a wide range of technology functions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, interview, and evaluate candidates for client openings in IT, including help‑desk, application development, network engineering, and executive roles.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with active and passive candidates by attending local user groups and networking events.
• Review technical job requirements, reformat resumes, and present qualified candidates to clients.
• Develop sourcing strategies using various tools and networks to qualify talent.
• Negotiate pay rates with consultants and collaborate with the sales team to drive delivery strategy.
• Support teammates in filling positions across other business lines and national practices.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen attentively.
• High emotional intelligence and self‑awareness to manage relationships effectively.
• Adaptability to respond to changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Proven experience in technology recruiting or talent acquisition.
