Senior Site Superintendent – High‑Rise Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Superintendent to lead daily operations on a high‑rise construction project in Toronto. The role involves overseeing all site activities, coordinating large teams of trades and subcontractors, and ensuring safe, on‑time delivery of a complex residential or mixed‑use tower.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations on high‑rise projects.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers, consultants and site staff.
• Maintain project schedules and achieve key milestones.
• Enforce health and safety standards across the site.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively.
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Oversee quality control to meet project standards.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, access, hoisting and overall coordination.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, safety records and deficiency tracking.
• Support project close‑out, inspections and turnover.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or Senior Site Superintendent on high‑rise construction projects.
• Strong background managing large‑scale residential or mixed‑use high‑rise projects.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, safety and site coordination.
• Leadership ability to manage large teams and multiple trades.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and project documents.
• Knowledge of Ontario building codes, safety standards and construction regulations.
• Experience on Toronto‑based high‑rise projects is a strong asset.
