Senior SAP ABAP Developer – ECC & S/4HANA (Hybrid, Brampton)

About the role

We are seeking a senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our delivery team in Brampton. The role focuses on designing, building, testing and supporting ABAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Develop CDS Views and AMDPs, applying performance optimization techniques on SAP HANA.
• Build and maintain reports and forms, including ALV reports, SmartForms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms.
• Optimize database access, data handling, and SQL performance.
• Lead development efforts on complex technical requirements and handle escalations.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with functional teams across FI/CO, MM, and SD to deliver cross‑functional solutions.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of SAP ABAP development experience in ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views and AMDPs.
• Proven expertise in reporting and forms development (ALV, SmartForms, SAPscript, Adobe Forms).
• Solid understanding of FI/CO, MM and SD functional modules.
• Demonstrated performance‑optimization and SQL‑tuning skills.
• Ability to lead technical delivery and mentor junior team members.
• Clear communication skills and effective escalation management.
• English proficiency.
