Senior Project Manager – Hybrid (Kingston/York Mills)

About the role

Empire life is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Project Management Office. This hybrid position (Kingston/York Mills) will lead complex business transformation and IT projects from initiation through close‑out, working with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables and success criteria in partnership with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with IT and business resource managers to secure and assign project resources.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, issues and dependencies, and report status to all stakeholders.
• Apply change‑control processes to manage scope, budget or timeline adjustments.
• Provide coaching, direction and support to project team members.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of progressive experience leading large, complex business transformation or IT projects.
• Proven ability to work with senior management and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
