Senior Manager, Social Media

About the role

Origins is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its global social media strategy. Reporting to the Global Brand Director, you will act as the editorial chief for the brand’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms, driving cultural relevance and consumer love.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the global social media strategy, translating brand campaigns and product launches into platform‑native storytelling.
• Create and manage editorial calendars for each channel, balancing immersive visuals, educational content and cultural participation.
• Lead a small, self‑sufficient team in concepting, shooting and deploying social content.
• Partner with external creators, agencies and internal video producers to align video strategy and pilot experimental formats.
• Oversee end‑to‑end production of photography, video, motion graphics and reactive cultural assets.
• Define and maintain a distinct brand tone of voice, writing copy and captions across all touchpoints.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading social media strategy for a global consumer brand.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to translate brand narratives into engaging social content.
• Demonstrated leadership of creative teams and external partners.
• Portfolio showcasing successful social campaigns and content production.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, based three days per week in Toronto.

• Base salary range $110,000‑$120,000 CAD.
