Senior Manager, Project & Program Management (PMO)

About the role

Equinix is seeking a senior individual contributor to lead large, complex strategic programs within its PMO across the Americas. The role combines deep project‑management expertise with a strong technical perspective to elevate PMO practices, improve delivery consistency, and provide global portfolio visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to and refine PMO methodologies, frameworks, and standards.
• Support development and execution of strategic programs across the region.
• Standardize end‑to‑end project lifecycle practices and ensure governance compliance.
• Act as Smartsheet subject‑matter expert: drive adoption, build dashboards, workflows, and reporting models.
• Coach, mentor and train project and program managers on stakeholder, risk, and issue management.
• Build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders and influence adoption of standardized PM practices.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience leading large, strategic programs.
• Strong technical perspective in project management and PMO maturity.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop project management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
