Senior Manager, M&A HR (People in Deals)

About the role

PwC's People in Deals (M&A HR) team advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring and related transactions, covering both pre- and post-close phases. As a newly created Senior Manager in this line of service, you will work with executive leadership teams to design and implement workforce, organization and HR strategies that support successful integrations and separations, while enabling business continuity, employee engagement and long-term value.

Key responsibilities

• HR integration and separation, and HR due diligence
• HR operating model design and organization design
• Talent retention and leadership continuity planning
• Change management and communication, and culture integration
• Workforce synergies and cost optimization

Required profile

• Experience advising senior leadership on the people implications of M&A, divestitures, carve-outs, integrations and separations
• Experience leading HR due diligence, integration, separation and workforce transition initiatives
• Experience developing talent retention strategies, leadership continuity plans, employee communications and change management programs
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams and to lead teams through complex, concurrent engagements
• Ability to build and manage strategic client relationships and to lead business development, including proposals and pursuit support
• Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally

What we offer

• Salary range of $150,000 - $200,000, with possible variable incentive pay
