Senior IBM Maximo Manage Consultant

About the role

The City of Toronto is looking for a Senior IBM Maximo Manage Consultant to lead functional design, configuration, and implementation of Maximo Manage for its Corporate Real Estate Management Division. This hands‑on consulting position will guide the solution through the full lifecycle, from design to go‑live and post‑implementation support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and configure Maximo Manage components such as organizations, sites, Application Designer, database settings, security groups, workflows, reports, dashboards and mobile settings.
• Conduct fit‑gap assessments and design solutions for facilities maintenance, asset, location, service request, work management, preventive maintenance, inspections, mobile work execution, vendor/contractor management, and security/workflow configuration.
• Lead data migration activities, including mapping, validation, reconciliation and load cycles for assets, locations, PM hierarchies, job plans and work orders.
• Support integration design and testing with SAP, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), MREF, TRIRIGA and related APIs.
• Assist with System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, release management and environment promotions across development, test, pre‑production and production.
• Participate in cut‑over planning, go‑live execution, hyper‑care and stabilization, while providing regular status updates and risk mitigation.
• Deliver knowledge‑transfer documentation, job aids and sustainment materials.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on IBM Maximo configuration experience.
• Successfully delivered at least three full‑cycle Maximo implementations as a Maximo Application Consultant.
• Deep expertise in Maximo Work Management processes (service request to work order, job plans, preventive maintenance, vendor/contractor workflows).
• Extensive experience with Maximo data model, asset/location classifications, meters, PM hierarchies and migration from legacy EAM systems.
