Senior Embedded Software Developer

About the role

BinSentry is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software that powers its feed bin sensors and related platforms. The role involves close collaboration with hardware and software teams to deliver reliable, power-efficient solutions for the agricultural supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded C code for microcontrollers using FreeRTOS.
• Drive embedded Linux projects with Yocto and develop supporting Python scripts.
• Write power-efficient, resilient code, conduct system debugging, reliability testing, and performance optimization.
• Manage fleet deployments and contribute to new hardware projects across the product line.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience writing software for embedded devices.
• Proficiency in mission-critical C/C++ and Python development.
• Strong hardware debugging skills and comfort using an oscilloscope.
