Senior Simulation Engineer

About the role

Eavor Technologies is seeking a Senior Simulation Engineer to lead the development of physics‑based simulation tools for its next‑generation geothermal drilling system, Jules. The role focuses on coupling thermal‑hydraulic and structural‑mechanical models to support design, analysis, and digital‑twin applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of computational structural mechanics models and numerical solvers, integrate them with existing thermal‑hydraulic models, and improve robustness, accuracy, and performance.
• Define solver interfaces and data requirements, collaborate with engineering teams on simulation scenarios, and use results to inform design reviews and assess system performance.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or related field with 5+ years of experience developing numerical simulation software.
• Expertise in computational structural mechanics, nonlinear finite element methods, and coupled multiphysics simulation.
• Strong foundation in linear algebra, numerical methods, differential equations, and ability to verify and validate models against test data.
