Senior Director, Strategy & Operations

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to shape strategy and drive execution for a fast‑growing technology organization based in Canada. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will act as a strategic partner, turning high‑level priorities into measurable outcomes across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the executive team to define company strategy, set OKRs, and translate initiatives into actionable plans.
• Identify critical business challenges, develop solutions, and lead initiatives from definition through execution and impact measurement.
• Own the operating scorecard, tracking performance metrics for execution, customer experience, employee experience, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
• Lead a multi‑functional strategy and operations team covering technology operations, sales, people, and communications.
• Apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and decision‑making.
• Facilitate cross‑functional alignment, resolving competing priorities between product, engineering, sales, and other teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role such as Senior Director, Director, or Head of Strategy & Operations.
• Proven track record of driving business transformation and managing complex, high‑impact initiatives in a high‑growth technology environment.
• Strong judgment, analytical mindset, and ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building systems, teams, and processes from the ground up.
