Senior Director, Corporate Development

About the role

Nutrien is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Corporate Development function worldwide. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Development, you will own end‑to‑end M&A execution, from deal sourcing to integration, supporting the company’s growth strategy in the agriculture sector.

Key responsibilities

• Drive merger, acquisition, divestiture and partnership initiatives, including evaluation, structuring, financial analysis, due diligence, negotiation and integration planning.
• Lead and mentor a team of M&A professionals, internal project teams and external advisors.
• Assess and communicate the strategic, financial and enterprise‑wide impacts of transactions.
• Prepare and present transaction proposals to Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors for approval.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field, plus CFA, CPA, FSA designation or MBA.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in progressive leadership roles within a publicly traded, international company, investment bank or private equity firm.
• Strong strategic, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record of building trust with internal and external stakeholders.
