Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

CodalCodal is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its fast‑moving engineering team. You will own end‑to‑end DevOps processes, collaborate with engineering leads, developers, product managers and QA, and drive infrastructure, deployment and reliability initiatives across multiple cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code primarily with Terraform.
• Operate services in multi‑cloud environments (minimum two of AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
• Configure CDN, networking and edge delivery solutions (e.g., CloudFront, Cloudflare).
• Implement observability, logging and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Enforce DevSecOps security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and optimise for performance, scalability and cost.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on work with at least two major cloud providers.
• Proven expertise in Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python or Bash.
• Solid understanding of networking, CDN, DNS and load balancing.
• Experience with Linux systems and production debugging.
