Senior Communications Advisor

About the role

Enerflex is looking for a seasoned Senior Communications Advisor to join its Global Marketing and Stakeholder Relations team in downtown Calgary. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Stakeholder Relations and the Global Manager, Marketing, you will shape and execute the company’s internal communications strategy while delivering high‑impact content for global audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead major internal communication campaigns from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment with global marketing initiatives.
• Write, edit, and publish original content for employees, external stakeholders, and community audiences.
• Create and manage content for the corporate intranet, presentations, internal videos, articles, recognition pieces, and announcements, often coordinating multilingual translation.
• Support external channel content development (website, social media) while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Oversee Enerflex’s crisis communications framework, providing preparedness guidance and content support during critical events.
• Provide strategic counsel on communication planning, employee engagement, and change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, or a comparable discipline.
• Deep knowledge of communication, public relations, and marketing best practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven editorial track record.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
