Senior Accountant – Multi‑Region Finance Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations across North America and Europe. The role combines full‑cycle accounting, multi‑country payroll, and public‑company financial reporting in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including bank reconciliations, month‑end journal entries, allocations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
• Oversee multi‑country payroll processing and ensure accurate T4/T4A filings for Canadian entities.
• Prepare and maintain amortization schedules for prepaid and capital expenditures.
• Set up revenue recognition arrangements and manage partnership invoicing in NetSuite.
• Handle HST/GST, Ontario EHT, and WSIB filings, including annual returns.
• Conduct detailed balance‑sheet reviews, adjustments, and foreign‑currency exchange reconciliations.
• Support AP/AR processes for employees, vendors, and contractors across multiple currencies.
• Liaise with external auditors, service providers, and government agencies during audits and compliance reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience in senior accounting roles with international exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations (HST/GST, EHT, WSIB) and public‑company reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex, multi‑platform environments.
